Download My Book for Free Until Tomorrow

I realized that I neglected to make my book Ten Cheap Lessons: Second Edition available for free download as promised on Monday (I was traveling home for the holidays), so I'm making it available for the next 24 hours.

Thank you!!

If I find something else that will work with my three-peater algebra class, I will let you know.

So far, the only way I can get them to work equations is to let them play trashketball.

Hey, am I the only one who can't get the book to download? I get to the lulu site and click on the big "Download" button, but no download.

Am I doing something wrong? not using the right kind of computer or OS? What gives?

When I went there, it was full price. Is there a coupon code?

Lance & Erika: Try this link instead:

http://www.lulu.com/product/download/ten-cheap-lessons-second-edition/5449214

The original link included in the post pointed to the paperback edition, but if you click on the part that says "Also available as a Download," then on the big "Download" button, it should download.

Lance: It's possible that because it was a PDF, it automatically downloaded without opening into your normal download directory. Alternately, it might have been loading in your browser (depending on your settings) and would take a little bit because of the file's size. Try again, and if you can't find it, send me your email address and I'll email you a copy.

Erika: Check out the new link above which points directly to the download--it's only the paperback that's still regular price.

Ricochet: Be sure to check out Chapter 9!

Aha! Apparently lulu doesn't like Ubuntu. When I went to the site using Windows, I was able to download the book (for free!). Thanks, Tom.

(BTW Erika, when you get to the first lulu page, right underneath the big blue "Add to Cart" button, there's a link that says "Also available as a download." Click on this link to go to the download-for-free page.)
