Alternately, he compiled all the of articles into a free e-book called The Instant De-Stress Handbook (just subscribe to his RSS feed for the link).
I've added So You Want To Teach's RSS feed on the right hand side of the page, because it's always an interesting and informative read. Wow! Thanks for the comments there as well as the inclusion of my feed in your sidebar!
While there are clearly some concepts in the book that cannot be applied to teaching, and there are some concepts that I wouldn't want to incorporate into my life, there are some powerful ideas in it that just might could revolutionize the way many of us do business in our classrooms!
You're welcome!
The 4-Hour Workweek really got me thinking about what other non-teaching related books might be helpful in the classroom. I guess that's why I spend so much time in the business section at B&N now!
I agree. I actually began reading business books before last school year. I applied some of the concepts from Fish! and Raving Fans into my teaching. Great stuff. I'm convinced that customer service is the core of successful teaching!
